Below are a few tips for the Iwatsu phone systems:

  1. Changing the time on your phone: From your main attendant phone only
    1. Press SPKR
    2. FEAT
    3. 64
    4. the 4 digit time (military time)
    5. SPKR. The time on all phones should change

  2. To see the extension number of a phone: at the phone, without picking up the handset, press FEAT 99. The extension will display the feature that is supported.


Below are some of the most frequent tasks that we receive questions about regarding the VMI voicemail system (not ESNA).

  1. Changing Menu recordings: Recording a menu is the same as recording your personal greeting; the only difference is how you access.
    1. Dial 700 from any phone
    2. During greeting press #
    3. Enter Menu Number for mailbox number
    4. Press 3
    5. Press 2 for greeting management
    6. Press 2 to change greeting recording
    7. Press greeting number you want to record (normally 1)

  2. Removing Passcode:
    1. Dial 700 from any phone. You will hear “You have reached the message management center”.
    2. During greeting press #
    3. Enter 201 for mailbox number
    4. Press 4 for system management
    5. Press 4 for remove passcode.
    6. Enter the mailbox number

  3. Setting and checking voicemail time:
    1. Dial 700 from any phone. You will hear “You have reached the message management center”.
    2. During greeting press #
    3. Enter 201 for mailbox number
    4. Press 4 for system management
    5. Press 5
    6. Press 1 to check time or press 2 to change the time

  4. Select active greeting (1-9 after such has been set up):
    1. Dial 700 from any phone. You will hear “You have reached the message management center”.
    2. During greeting press #
    3. Enter mailbox number for the menu you are changing (s.a. 900)
    4. Press 3
    5. Press 2 to access mailbox greeting management menu
    6. Press 1 to select or determine the greeting number that is active
    7. Press 2 to change greeting recording
    8. Press 3 to play greeting
    9. Press 4 to discard greeting
    10. Press 9 to exit to previous menu
    11. Hang up when finished

  5. Holiday greeting is in menu 975 – record this menu first – then to active the holiday greeting schedule:
    1. Dial 700 from any phone. You will hear “You have reached the message management center”.
    2. During the greeting enter #
    3. Enter mailbox number 201
    4. Press 4 for systems management
    5. Press 7 for holiday greeting schedule
    6. Press 1 to active the holiday schedule

  6. To deactivate the holiday greeting schedule
    1. Dial 700 from any phone. You will hear “You have reached the message management center”.
    2. During greeting press #
    3. Enter mailbox number 201.
    4. Press 4 for system management
    5. Press 7 for holiday greeting schedule
    6. Press 2 to deactivate the holiday schedule and return to normal operations
